Westwood United Methodist Church offers a vibrant children’s ministry program which combines biblical teachings, games, crafts and music with a goal to help our children develop a Christian foundation for their lives.  Sunday morning activities include:

Sunday School

This year our Westwood Waves (preschool age through 5th grade) will be learning that “You are God’s Treasure” through Bible lessons, games, music and crafts! We have a treasure ship theme and each room is decorated with treasure maps and under the sea posters! Our first lessons will be about David – as a boy, as a friend and as a king.

Children’s Music

Children are invited to sing with the Children’s Choir each Sunday after Sunday School.  Our children are preparing for our Christmas Concert and early Christmas Eve services. 

Children’s Follow-up

After choir, while parents are in adult education classes, our children participate in a time of snacks, crafts and movies.
