Calling All Space Explorers!!!  Get ready to blast off on a Galactic Adventure!  This summer The United Methodist churches of Santa Monica and Westwood are doing a joint Vacation Bible School (VBS) adventure! We invite all children from ages 4 years old to 5th grade to be part of the excitement of Galactic Blast.

A Cosmic Adventure Praising God, Vacation Bible School 2010 invites you to board the starship Galactic Praise to see our awesome universe-and our awesome God-in a whole new way. Each Galactic mission includes a Bible story in the Good News Galaxy, along with science activities at the Orbital Observatory, music at Moons & Tunes, art projects at Cosmic Crafts, games at Rocket Rec, and a snack at the Astro Bistro.

This Cosmic Adventure will introduce the children to Bible characters that have experienced and discovered God in many ways. The children will learn a daily Praise Phrase with each story to encourage them to praise God every day:
Our Cosmic Adventure begins Monday, August 2, 2010 through Friday, August 6, 2010.

Each day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm in FUMC’s Simkins Hall.
