An event every week that begins at 11:30am on Sunday, repeating until March 11, 2018
Sundays, March 4th & 11th (11:30am-1pm) Room 207
The Sanctuary has served our congregation as a marvelous sacred space for over 6 decades. Thousands of individuals have sung, prayed, listened to preaching and scripture as part of their faith journey. Sanctuary Worship finds its roots in worship practices that are backed by centuries of tradition and innovation. Now that our Sanctuary has received some much needed “renovation”, it seems a great time to reflect on our approach toward worship, and how we would like it to be vital and relevant for the future.
Join Pastor John Woodall for lunch, listening, learning, and dialoging about our Sanctuary service. We want you to come with your ideas, hopes, and visions for how we honor our tradition while keeping open to embracing practices, which can aid more people in calling this place home. These sessions will be highly participatory, and because of this, we ask you to commit to attending both weeks if at all possible.
