Our schedule has changed and we look forward to seeing you each Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 and ending in the Loft at 11:50. During that first hour we get the theme of the day in the sanctuary and then move to our classrooms where we can discuss and question and laugh and make friends. We’ll also have a chance to explore art in response to the theme. Last week was an interesting discussion & art time, even though few children were there. Lauren McBrayer helped guide the 4th and 5th graders into a terrific sharing time. This Sunday we’ll be talking about wisdom as seen in the Wisdom of Solomon and also seen in Calypso from “Bluey” and Jiminy Cricket from “Pinocchio” and Dumbledore from “Harry Potter” and even Yoda! How can we make good decisions? What is wise or not wise? What is a conscience? How do we become wise? We love being with our children and watch them grow in their faith.
