For infant care through 5th grade, we have a children’s ministry Sunday morning program that seeks to build community through Bible stories, creative experiences, music, play, and loving care.
What We Do
Learn
Westwood Church has a vibrant Sunday morning Children’s Ministry that explores God’s world through Bible stories, including the Godly Play curriculum to engage kids’ imaginations and curiosity as their
understanding of the world grows. It connects our children with the wider life of the church, as they are
encouraged to participate in service projects and special activities that give them a way to help us all
express our heart as a community.
Music
Our Westwood Kids experience music through our program of “Faith in Motion” which uses art to present the Bible story of the day, including music, movement and dance. Throughout the church year, the children are invited to share what they have learned in both the Sanctuary and LOFT worship gatherings.
Play
Playing together helps us move toward our goal of building our beloved community through experiences of sharing, friendship, and many joyful times together.
