18 Oct Impossible Things
We had so much fun last week trying to see if we could do impossible things, like walking in one direction with eight arms linked backwards in a circle or making a plastic straw go through a potato or building a paper bridge that held 100 pennies. We were learning the scripture that with God all things are possible and discussed how hard it is sometimes to put God before everything else. One child said that she didn’t want to put God ahead of a few very special people she really loved, so we wondered together if perhaps that was actually putting God, who is love, above it all. Our kids are fascinating as are the interactions with scripture.
This Sunday, we’ll explore what it means to be a leader and a follower, first and last, proud and humble as the Jesus Jaguars don headpieces and become James, John, & James. Even the narrator will have a hat. We are happy to have the children all morning for the “full meal deal” or even for 30 minutes. We welcome you with open arms as we build community!
