Terence Hagans
Terence Hagans was ordained as served as a pastor in the Texas Conference of the UMC for seven years; when he came out of the closet, he surrendered his ordination credentials because he could not serve in that context as an out gay man. Terence brings not only his charismatic voice to the pulpit, but also his deep commitment to work for racial reconciliation, economic justice and embodied hope. His love of building transformative relationships continues to shape his work, which has been primarily focused in technology innovation and start-up entrepreneurship since he left ordained ministry. He is a graduate of Duke University (MDiv) and Stanford (BA).
