This Sunday, we begin a new series, as our scripture readings lead us through some of Jesus difficult teaching, in the Gospel of Luke. Reading Jesus words today, these texts become even more complicated—his lessons and parables hit different when we read in the days after Covid, in the midst of climate catastrophe, as we hold faithful doubt and genuine belief. Join us as we explore some of the tensions and gifts of reaching our ancient gospel in light of our current reality, as people committed to thoughtful faith.
