Jesus speaks about the power of “faith the size of a mustard seed,” describing how even a little faith can accomplish big things; these words hit different when we’re facing tragedy. In the midst of loss, this message holds little consolation. Still, there’s a message of hope buried somewhere in Jesus’ words: an invitation to belong in a community of redemption and liberation.
