The Sanctuary will celebrate its rich history of music ministry on Ascension Sunday, May 21st. Featuring the Chancel Choir and soloists accompanied by chamber orchestra and the Shaffer Memorial Organ, special music will include J. S. Bach’s Cantata 37, Gerald Finzi’s God is Gone Up, and selections from G. F. Handel’s Organ Concerto Op. 7, No. 1. The music is made possible by the generosity of the Friends of Sanctuary Music.
