The children, youth, and adult choirs + the organ FILLED the sanctuary for our Thanksgiving Sunday. We are very thankful for our director Ruth Drossel and for the adult choir director Andrew Schultz for helping us make a hugely joyful noise of thanking God!

This Sunday will be our first Sunday in Advent. This year the children are focusing on HANDLING PEACE throughout Advent. Peace for our world and peace for their little bodies, minds, and souls. Images and talk of war have grieved several of them. Others are anxious about our planet. Still others worry about their parents or grandparents. Or the people living on the streets or being in homes but having no food. We’ll be making tiny Advent wreaths with candles for your dinner tables at home. Along with that will come an Advent booklet to use at home, to bring hope, joy, love, and yes, peace, with activities to make your Advent a time of preparation for Christ’s birth: the Prince of Peace.
