05 Jan Memorizing the Lord’s Prayer
Many, many thanks to Deanna Edwards and Team for stepping up when I couldn’t come to church last Sunday because of a fall on concrete steps! If you didn’t get a yellow Epiphany Bag with family things to do (plus star cookies and gold chocolate coins!), we have some left to send home with you this Sunday.
We’ll be beginning our memorization and understanding of the Lord’s Prayer in Sunday school. And at 10:35, we’ll join the Loft for communion. Please note: If you want to take communion with your children, just line up with them. It’s a beautiful sight to see families together. The opening of the Lord’s Prayer is based on a familial address, and the way children often learn best about a loving God is from the human love they experience. Don’t forget: everyone needs 5 hugs a day. I’m always ready to give and receive!!
