13 Jun Parable of the Mustard Seed

What a glorious morning for Promotion Sunday! Two of our rising 4th graders received their Bibles, and they were thrilled. So are we! We said goodbye to the Jesus Jaguars who will be moving on to the Grapplers.

This Sunday, we look at the Parable of the Mustard Seed, searching for what makes the Kingdom (or Kin-dom or Realm) of God. We’re moving kids around in classrooms and helping them make community in church. Many thanks to Dr. Deanna for carrying on last Sunday while I was sick. I’m much better now and looking forward to watching us try to grow mustard seeds and form our new little classroom communities. Maybe, in due time, we’ll even be able to put the mustard greens in a salad. Think of that!
