02 Jun Pentecost Was Full of Fire!

Pentecost 2023 was full of fire and wind and excitement! Thank you to Ms. Ruth, for leading the children in sacred dance in the sanctuary – yet another way to embody God’s gift of presence in our lives! Many thanks to Ms. Deanna for her leadership over the last three weeks while Pastor Diana was in Italy and Switzerland with family.

We so look forward to this coming Sunday when we will look at the first creation story in Genesis, using James Weldon Johnson’s beautiful poetry as well as hearing the account of Genesis in Godly Play.

On June 9th we will have Promotion Sunday AND the beginning of our annual Vacation Bible School. Special programming will be 9:30-11:45 each of the five Sundays. Compassion Camp ’23 “Building a Community of God” promises to be inspiring and loads of fun. We’ll design caps and build a tiny city out of cardboard over the five weeks of camp. Don’t miss our special time together to learn how to be more compassionate with self and others!
