Christmas Eve

10am – The Sanctuary
Experience the beauty of the Christmas season in our cathedral sanctuary with organ and choir. Children’s Church for birth-5th graders provided.

10am – The Loft
Come home to a cozy conversation, warm cup, and sounds of the season as The Loft circles around the tree to sing the classics and discuss the meaning of Christmas. Children’s Church for birth-5th graders provided.

5pm – Family Service
Enjoy a Christmas celebration for the entire family with a kid’s pageant, inspiring music, and a hope-filled message. Everyone is welcome, but no childcare is provided.

10:30pm – Pre-service Concert
Arrive early to enjoy a concert featuring Jaebon Hwang on organ and Elaine Litster on harp. Elaine Litster performs and freelances throughout Southern California. She has played with many orchestras, including the Asia American Symphony Orchestra, the American Freedom Orchestra, the West Coast Symphony, the New Valley Symphony, and the Boise Philharmonic. Elaine is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of the American Harp Society. For the past twenty years, Elaine has organized and conducted “Harp Extravaganza,” California’s largest “spontaneous” holiday harp ensemble, averaging over 25 harpists. TV appearances have included Mad Men and the Bold and the Beautiful. Elaine’s solo album, The Moonlit Harp, has been well received. As Miss Idaho, Elaine received a special award in the Miss America pageant for her harp performance. She holds degrees from BYU and UCLA.

11pm – Candlelight Service
Enjoy the peace of Christmas in our cathedral sanctuary as you experience the message of Christ’s birth, our angelic choir, organ music, harp, and candlelit singing of Silent Night. (Join us at 10:30pm for a pre-service concert with organ and harp.) Everyone is welcome, but no childcare is provided.
