As Jesus speaks with Peter and the disciples about what it means to follow him–about his coming suffering, death and resurrection–he invites them to be accountable to a very different set of rules and expectations. Similarly, as we follow Jesus today, we are invited to hold ourselves accountable to the good news of Christ.
