When things don’t work out the way we had hoped, God is still with us. Part of the gift of our “good enough” Lent is this: it reminds us of the limits of our humanity. In our Gospel text for Sunday, Jesus experiences this, too; as he laments for Jerusalem, we draw courage from our God who knows sorrow.
