The first chapter of Genesis describes the creation of humankind in God’s own image. This beautiful description affirms our identities as precious, holy, and wondrous: we bear the divine in our human bodies. There is no better news to begin the month of June, when LA celebrates Pride, and Westwood UMC affirms, again and again, our commitment as a Reconciling United Methodist Church.
