05 Jul Teach, Preach, and Heal

Last Sunday, we discovered something surprising when we put together a model of Jesus’ synagogue and the upper room where he and his disciples shared their last supper. We noticed that our own church includes some ideas from this story, because we all took a short “field trip” to our sanctuary.

This Sunday, when we hear about how Jesus sent out his disciples to teach, preach and heal, we want to discover how people are still being called to do his work. That brings us to this nice surprise: a special guest is coming to us to share about her life in Haiti, where she and her husband were also sent out to teach and heal in Jesus name.
