Christian faith is an expectant faith. In the language of Jesus’ prayer to the ancient creeds, we pray for God’s “kin-dom” to come to pass. However, despite the social progress we have made in some areas of our lives since Jesus taught his disciples that prayer, sometimes it feels like things are not getting any better. Join us this Sunday as we explore why we need a theology of hope and imagine what a theology of hope would look like for us today.
