Participating in the love of Jesus Christ means we keep enlarging our circle; Christ’s love breaks down divisions we had used as descriptions that make other people outsiders to our group. When we do this work, we are not extending God’s love to new outsiders; we’re letting ourselves into an expansive community with people God has already loved and blessed.
