Westwood UMC is pleased to welcome Rev. Jane Voigts back to our pulpit. Pastor of the United Methodist Church in Palm Springs since 2018, Rev. Voigts is a leader with a lifelong knack for “making church fun.” After starting a career in improv and comedy, she found her spiritual hope in the UMC and a calling to ministry. Many in our congregation will remember the joy and laughter she shared with our church when she served as Associate Pastor from 1996-2002. She’s also served churches in Appleton, Wisconsin; San Luis Obispo, and Toluca Lake. Alongside more conventional pastoral work, she developed, produced and performed a unique variety show entitled, The Bible Cabaret: A Comedy and Music Review Starring the Old and New Testaments.
