One of the metaphors we use to describe the Christian life is as members, together, in the body of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul runs with this image, giving us ways to contemplate the depth of our belonging to one another, our interdependence, and the life we share. This message continues to offer powerful and radical implications for us, today, as we seek to live into this fullness of life in Christ.
