As the Internet has stated: This is the Lentiest Lent we have ever Lented.
But here we are at Palm Sunday.
There will be palms.
There will be a procession (of sorts).
There will be the story of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, and how he spent some of his final moments with his disciples and friends.
There will be uncomfortable reminders of how we respond to Jesus when also facing deep anxiety and stress.
But above all, there will be the assurance that Jesus’ love never faltered.
His invitation never hesitated.
His offering was and is forever ours.
And so we sing “Hosanna” and “What wondrous love is this?”
