17 Nov The Least of These

Want to know what Jesus says about our responsibility with “the least of these”? Our Thanksgiving service and meal are this Sunday. Children can come into The Sanctuary for Children’s Time and then move on to the Educational Building where we’ll discuss Matthew 25 and fill out our “Stewardship Cards” to be blessed in the service. We’ll also be blessing the toys and books that will go to Echo Park Immigration Center. So, if you still have toys and books to share with refugee children, please bring them along. We have enjoyed hearing children point at certain items and say to a friend, “This is what I brought!”

Last Sunday, most children found a new skill: how to braid! We made crimson cords in remembrance of Rahab who protected others and asked for protection because she recognized something about their God that sounded like what she wanted in her life. Have your children asked to braid YOUR hair??

PLEASE NOTE: The Westwood Kids Choir members need to be in The Sanctuary at 9:30 sharp if you want to sing at the 10am service!

RSVP for our Advent All-Church Party!
Join us on Sunday, December 3rd at 12noon for our all-church party! There will have a light lunch, fun activities for kids (think collages and gingerbread houses!).
