Christmas at Westwood

“Love arrives, as Christ is born into our world.”

This Christmas, we invite you to celebrate the arrival of Love by joining us for an online Christmas concert, a virtual Posada shopping for loved ones, and worshipping on Christmas Eve.

Sunday, December 6th (3pm) via Facebook
Join us online for an afternoon of music celebrating the Christmas season, complete with harp, strings, two pianos, and carol sing-a-longs led by Westwood Church organist Yoojung Chung with special guest Alison Bjorkedal, harpist. The program will also highlight the history of wonderful music at Westwood Church.

Friday, December 11th (7-8pm) via Zoom
All are welcome to join the bilingual virtual Posada, a Latinx tradition which commemorates the Christmas story when Mary and Joseph found refuge to birth the child of God. This virtual gathering will be a recontextualization of the Posada tradition by highlighting some of social realities that refugees face today and culminate with reflections about Christmas from the perspective of some of the refugee families that we are gathering Christmas cards for. To RSVP for the virtual Posada or if you have any questions, please contact Josh Lopez-Reyes at
