Rev. Dr. Willis Johnson is the senior minister of Wellspring Church in Ferguson, Missouri. A third generation educator, Rev. Johnson has devoted his entire ministry to fostering peaceful — and meaningful — responses to the police shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, and the violent tumult that followed. He’s recently authored a book, Holding Up Your Corner: Talking about Race in your Community.
