“God is with me when I’m scared,” we recited as we played hopscotch and made “portable hugs” to remind us of things that help us when we’re scared. We learned the story of how Peter was too scared when he asked Jesus to help him walk on the water.
Next Sunday is the story of Jesus asking the disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” In addition we’ll sing in the sanctuary and in the Loft where we’ll also be taking communion. We welcome families to join us in the line.
March 10 is another special Lenten Sunday. We will be able to make a walking prayer on the labyrinth in Upper Helms, followed by making our own finger labyrinths. Please don’t miss this!
